Speak a New Language with Ease

Anyone interested in learning conversational Mandarin or English... perhaps Spanish, Japanese, French or even Visayan in the shortest time possible? Look no further.

The Speedtalk Center formally launched its language program located at the second level of Banilad Town Center. Guests of honor included Consul General Cui Luosheng of the People's Republic of China, British Honorary Consul Moya Jackson and Honorary Consul of Denmark Sabino Dapat.

Over cocktails and picas, Osmund Ko, the young, and driven General Manager of the establishment, enthusiastically explained the fundamental Speedtalk experience that guarantees students sufficient knowledge of the language after completing the different levels of language proficiency. Let me share with you the programs and unique methods that the Center adopts.

PROGRAMS:
Students are presented with a unique and personalized type of instruction where listening and speaking skills are emphasized. Variations in learning activities allow greater amounts of individual practice and interaction with other students. Using a conversational approach through listening and speaking, instructors at the Center encourage practical language in the context of real-life situations.

PERSONALIZED LEARNING:
Individual instruction (1-on-1) - You can learn at your own pace and on a schedule that is convenient for you. Half the lesson will be spent on listening to the new language while the other half on speaking it. A customized program for vocabulary needs will be provided.

Semi-private instruction - This provides a high degree of individual attention while giving the students a chance to interact with others. This set-up is ideal for co-workers; couples or friends who prefer to learn a new language in the company of other people with whom they feel most comfortable.

Small Group instruction is reserved for 5 to 10 individuals who find it easier and more enjoyable to learn in a group setting. Classes are offered at convenient, regularly scheduled times. And since everybody shares in the cost, it is the most economical way to learn.

INSTRUCTORS:
The instructors are either native speakers or native-fluent in the target language. They have undergone and passed the rigid Speedtalk Instructor Training Program. They are equipped with special training in motivating and guiding students in achieving the language goals. The highly trained instructors encourage the learners to speak constantly and give them opportunities to practice the language in a meaningful context.
