Go Mac, Go iStore

A big apple is set to redefine the Cebuano lifestyle. Beginning July 2, Cebuanos will see the digital world in a different perspective as iStore, the hottest thing to hit the local digital communications market, opens its doors to the Cebuano populace to usher in Apple Computers' brand of the digital lifestyle.

iStore, described as the premier touch point for all things Apple in Cebu, is etching its niche at the heart of the newly opened Banilad Town Centre in barangay Banilad, Cebu City. And being the only Gold Level Apple Service Provider in Cebu, the store is no less than a state-of-the-art Apple Retail Store similar to those in the United States that never fails to amaze and bring comfort to its clients.

iStore offers Cebuanos Apple desktop and portable computers that are described as products of flawless integration of hardware and software. The iMac, iBook and Mac mini are but among those in the wide range of choices that iStore Manager Badong Reyes promised Cebuanos would love. At the heart of each Apple computer is the world's most advanced operating system - OS X Tiger. Two reasons that Reyes believes would attract customers include the fact that Macs are the easiest computers to use - you can plug in any peripheral, such as a printer or camera, and have it work immediately, and Macs are so secure that they are virus-fee.

And because iStore's thrust is to find out what a client exactly needs, customers will be treated to a display of the latest Apple computers and the features it offers to suit each person's lifestyle. Mac specialists will be available in the store to address concerns of any type of customer ranging from the ordinary home user to musicians, to video/graphics artists.

iStore will be displaying the complete line of Apple computers. Customers are encouraged to use them in order to experience it for themselves. "Feel free to test drive any of our products," Reyes mused. "iStore is also excited to be bringing out the most affordable Mac ever - the Mac Mini. For less than PhP40,000.00, you can own a Mac."

Aside from each Apple computer being protected by a standard one-year warranty, iStore will also honor clients who have the 3-year AppleCare warranty. Reyes said that because iStore has a direct relationship with Apple, they will be able to better support special orders and requirements for corporate accounts and bulk orders.

To intensify its presence to Cebuanos, iStore will be holding digital lifestyle events in the store that would help Mac users get more out of their computers. These events would include Getting Started workshops, iLife workshops, iChat workshops, and a host of other special events where one can find inspiration seeing how creative professionals, technology experts, and others use their Macs.

"We want you to fall in love with our product and make the Mac is integral in your life," Reyes said. Perhaps all it would take for Cebuanos make the important switch is to visit iStore. As the Apple website puts it, "Take a Mac out of its box, and you experience that hand-and-glove fit from the get-go. Plug it in. Turn it on. And you're ready for anything. That's because with a Mac, you'll find all of the essentials built right in."
