A benefit concert for Typhoon Tino victims

CEBU, Philippines — A benefit concert for victims of Typhoon Tino, titled “Tindog Balik Cebu,” will take place on January 4, 2026, in Mandaue City at the open grounds opposite Bai Hotel.

Organized by SKS Empire International, the concert will kick off with a motorcade from Citi de Mare in the South Road Properties at 3 p.m. en route to the open grounds. The program proper will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a rave party at 10 p.m.

Confirmed performers who have waived their talent fees include NoPetsAllowed, SOUTHVIBES, KIDZ THESE DAYS, THE KITZ, APRIL GARCIA, CEBUANOHUSTLA, Ubecano Soldierz of Barrio Candu, CANDU BLOCK, Aliados Mobbz, GS Way-Kurat, Big Blood Boki, RKteQ Official, Emcee E, Broodie Lynch, and MY ALIBI.

Organizers said more performers will be announced once their schedules and agreements to perform for the benefit show are finalized.

Jojo Quiliope, frontman of MY ALIBI, said that “Tindog Balik Cebu” will not only help victims of Typhoon Tino but will also provide artists an opportunity to perform in a festival-style setup for a cause.

“This will give us Cebuano artists the platform to perform on a big stage. This is going to be great for us artists to showcase our talents, and we will help people affected by the calamity as well,” he said during a press conference held yesterday, December 21, at J-Cob Cosina Bar and KTV Mango Square Mall.

Tickets will be sold on the day of the concert through a P100 entrance fee, which also serves as a chance to win giveaway prizes from the concert’s sponsors. Attendees are also welcome to bring relief donations to the event.

“100 pesos is enough to buy one food pack. It’s a huge help for those affected by Typhoon Tino to have a full stomach,” said concert organizer Cheryl Rosales.

Organizers added that the concert will push through rain or shine and that they will coordinate with the Cebu City Transportation Office to ensure the proper implementation of the motorcade.
