Moira releases ‘Umpisa’ collab version with Adie
Singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre has joined forces for the first time with fellow artist Adie for their touching collaboration “Umpisa.”
The song is originally from Moira’s most recent album “I’m Okay” but finds new life and a fresh spark in this 2025 re-release. With Adie lending his soulful voice and a newly written verse, the track blossoms into something both familiar and new, like finding an old love letter and adding a hopeful postscript.
The release also marks a special collaboration between Moira, Adie, and the latter’s label OC Records.
“‘Umpisa’ has always been about that fragile start – where love is exciting but terrifying,” Moira said. “This version feels like rediscovering that moment, but with a little more light.”
Adie, known for hits “Paraluman” and “Mahika,” adds his own touch of kilig and charm to the song. “Working with Moira was a dream. Her music has always inspired me, and being part of this reimagined version of ‘Umpisa’ makes it even more special,” Adie said.
The duet dances delicately between hope and worry – two voices blending in quiet harmony, painting love as both a risk and a promise. Moira’s signature warmth meets Adie’s boyish sincerity, creating a chemistry that’s both comforting and exciting. – Philstar.com
