Marc, Christi sail around Bali in 'Beached'

CEBU, Philippines — Marc Nelson and Christi McGarry go on a spirited adventure on the island of Bali in Indonesia in the two-part “Beached” special airing on July 27 and August 3, 8:30pm on Metro Channel.

After their escapade in Mexico last month, the seasoned travelers make their way to one of the top beach destinations in the world for another exciting adventure.

“Blessed with astounding natural wonders and equally awe-inspiring people, this place is known as the Island of the Gods,” described Marc in the show’s latest teaser.

Christi is thrilled to explore Bali which she considers an exceptional stop. She said, “This place has a special place in my heart too. There’s a lot to take in: thrilling activities, breathtaking views, and hot dining spots. Truly a spellbinding destination!”

For the first episode of “Beached Bali,” the travel show hosts explore Canna Beach Club located at the heart of Nusa Dua and offers a variety of activities for everyone, including paragliding and beach volleyball.

The two also visit the Path Bali yoga center in the resort village Canggu, the iconic Uluwatu Temple, various dining spots that are a must-try in the area, and many more. They likewise discover Sungai Watch, an organization that ensures that the Indonesian rivers are kept clean.

In the second episode of the “Beached Bali” special, Marc and Christi get to surf along Berawa Beach, known for black sand, big waves, and the beautiful view of the Indian Ocean.

They also travel around Bali’s cultural capital, Ubud, and try the adrenaline-pumping white water rafting adventure across 28 rapids. The Tegallalang Rice Terraces is also part of the itinerary, a UNESCO World Heritage site that offers a panoramic view of Bali’s lush and scenic landscape.

The two also delve into the sustainability practice of Green School Bali, explore the Finns Beach Club, and dine at the hottest dining spots on the island.

Marc and Christi's latest adventure in “Beached Bali” premiers on July 27 and August 3 (Saturday) at 8:30 pm. Metro Channel is available on Sky Cable channel 52 (SD) and channel 174 (HD), Cignal channel 69, and GSAT channel 70.
