Direk Yam eyes Kylie Verzosa
CEBU, Philippines — “Death of a Girlfriend” director Yam Laranas, who admits he is particular in casting his stars, has his eyes on another Viva talent for his next film.
“If Kylie Versoza is listening, let’s work. Let’s do something. I wanna work with you,” the horror genre maverick said when asked who he’d love to direct next. “AJ Raval and Diego Loyzaga, my leads in ‘Death of a Girlfriend,’ know that when I say I wanna work with you, I’m dead serious.”
Direk Yam said he has a sweet love story in mind for the beauty queen-turned-actress who is starring in Viva’s adaptation of the hit Korean film “The Housemaid.”
“But there has to be a conflict that will make the character sacrifice her life and future for the guy. It will either end in her demise or the guy’s demise. That’s what we do for love, right?”
