Much-awaited ‘Gameboys’ finale this Sunday
The widely popular and groundbreaking Pinoy BoyLove series “Gameboys” will stream its finale Sunday in the YouTube channel of The IdeaFirst Company, owned by partners Perci Intalan and Jun Lana.
Playing the lead roles in the series are Kokoy de Santos and Elijah Canlas, whose popularity soared worldwide thanks to “Gameboys.”
In fact, the popularity of “Gameboys” resulted to merchandising, with dogtags from Silver Works being sold, and the actors nabbing a Bench Clothing sponsorship.
Kokoy and Elijah can’t quite believe the success and were amazed with how the series was accepted by audiences.
The finale is much-awaited since episode 12 ended with Gav and Cai fighting. Fans were very much affected by the ending and talked about it endlessly on social media. After having that kilig moment when Gav and Cai kissed in episode 10, then came the big fight in episode 12.
Since the fans waited two weeks for the conclusion, they have their own ideas how the series will end. Of course, they have this firm belief that Gav and Cai will have a happy ending, that they won’t separate even if Cai is moving to Bukidnon to follow his mom’s wish.
Producers Direk Perci and Direk Jun, plus Direk Ivan said Episode 13 -- the longest -- is worth the wait. The IdeaFirst Company said there will be a film version of “Gameboys” but there are fans who are requesting for a second season.
