Karl Aquino ready for an acting break

CEBU, Philippines - After successfully attending and finishing an acting workshop spearheaded by the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), Karl Aquino said he is now ready to share scenes with today’s hottest young leading ladies Kathryn Bernardo and Janella Salvador. He considers these two girls dream partners for any male celebrity his age.

Karl, an Olive-C cologne endorser, said that entering showbiz has always been his dream. Learning that Olive-C owner Jim Acosta had enrolled him for the workshop, the talented guy could not help but feel ecstatic.

“When Sir Jim told me that he enrolled me for the acting workshop at PETA, I was so excited. I said to myself, ‘This is it!’ The experience was really great. I can proudly say that after graduating from the workshop, I am now confident to join all acting auditions,” the gentleman said.

 As a newcomer, Karl is aware that he still has a lot to prove. But known to be hardworking, many believe that this guy can be another name in the Philippine silver screen and television.

 “Karl is a nice guy. He deserves a break in acting. We cannot wait to see him on a TV series one of these days,” said Diana, the head of Karl’s Angels, a Manila-based fan group for Karl.

Karl gained a fan base through his constant social media engagement and mall shows organized by Psalmstre. Proof of that, his Trumpet Challenge dance video shot at Leyte’s famous San Juanico Bridge became a trending topic on social media for several weeks. (FREEMAN)
