MVP Group promotes sports development in public schools

CEBU, Philippines - Companies headed by business tycoon Manuel V. Pangilinan are stepping up support for the development of sports programs in public schools all over the country.  An assortment of over a thousand balls were recently turned over to the Department of Education (DepEd)  who, in turn, will distribute these to schools in the National Capital Region, Calabarzon, Western Visayas and Northern Mindanao. A staunch sports advocate, Pangilinan has acknowledged time and again that sports can be a tool for nation building, especially among the country's youth.
