A miniature Christmas in ‘AHA!’ and ‘Born Impact’

CEBU, Philippines - This Sunday, “AHA!” and “Born Impact” air back-to-back episodes featuring the wonders of the tiny and small!

With endless lists of things to buy this season, AHA!’s Boobay presents various gift ideas. Ticked on his list is the miniature playhouse with details so intricate it sure will be a hit for both the young and old: tiny characters playing house with miniscule chairs, dining tables, cups and saucers, with quaint bedrooms and bathrooms to match. 

Drew Arellano, meanwhile, takes Jillian Ward to a snow wonderland in the Philippines. Also featured are latest toy robots and apparels accentuated by gleaming LED.

Following “AHA!” is a peek into the forest’s cute but sometimes creepy and harsh macro world courtesy of “Born Impact.”Witness how a colony of termites builds a mud tunnel inside a tree, which will stand as a safe fortress for their clan. But a number of army ants, the termite’s predator and archenemy, successfully penetrate the fortress. The termites must now defend their colony or be eaten. A critter war ignites.

Unknown to man, the tiny macro world holds the forest together, as decomposers and main food source of larger animals; their disappearance can be cataclysmic. Indeed they are small, but their function in the forest makes a big difference!
