Is Dennis Trillo the reason why Luis Manzanoand Jennylyn Mercado parted ways?

The buzz is that Luis found out that Jennylyn had been dating the ex-Kapuso star. The couple had broken up before, but this time it looks like they have reached the final chapter of their relationship. Luis’ lips are sealed. All he says is that he’ll make the big reveal “in due time.”

His parents aren’t talking either. Mom Gov. Vilma Santos says she doesn’t want to butt in. “It’s their personal issue! Let’s just pray they will both be okay,” Ate Vi was quoted by somebody close to her that I asked.

Dad Edu Manzano is also on no-comment mode. To think that just recently Edu posted a photo of himself with Luis, Jennylyn and Edu’s two sons Adi and Enzo. The caption read: “Meet the Manzano’s plus 1. A super nice person named Jennylyn Mercado. She surprised me at my birthday dinner. Am very grateful.”

That was quite a bombshell Freddie Aguilar exploded last week. Ka Freddie revealed that his latest girlfriend is 16 years old.

The “Anak” composer-singer, if you care to know, is 60. And he’s been married twice before. And (drum roll!) his last love partner was 17.

Ka Freddie seems to delight in exposing details about his newest senior-minor affair. He claims he didn’t know the girl was 16 when he was courting her. By the time he found out, “it was too late, I was already in love,” Ka Freddie said.

The girl’s parents approve of the relationship, he said. Ka Freddie said the affair was serious enough that they even talked about having a baby.

The social media went on overdrive as netizens reacted – many vehemently – to photos were posted on Facebook showing Ka Freddie kissing a young girl, believed to be his new flame. Many were shocked, others gave a let-them-be shrug, and at least one was surprised that at the singer’s age, he’s still got it. The photos were posted by a certain Angelica Rosario who is based in Singapore.

I wouldn’t be surprised if I learn that Maja Salvador gets extremely jealous of Diana Zubiri. You see, Diana and Maja’s guy, Gerald Anderson, are becoming the darlings of teleserye followers because of their chemistry in ABS-CBN’s “Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin.” There’s even a Diana-Gerald fans club.

Mind you, Diana is just one of the mainstays in the series, along with Cristine Reyes. But her role appears to be more challenging than Cristine’s.
