Pinay Miss World queens on ‘Tunay na Buhay’ tonight

CEBU, Philippines - Take a glimpse into the lives of Miss World beauty queens Megan Young and Evangeline Pascual on GMA’s “Tunay Na Buhay” tonight after “Katipunan.”

In the recent Miss World pageant, the first Filipina to ever win the crown has shown the rest of the world that her love for country is just as admirable as her “beauty and brains.”

Tonight, join Kapuso host Rhea Santos as she gets to know Miss World 2013 Megan Lynn Young, and her inspiring story behind the crown and away from the limelight in “Tunay Na Buhay.”

Evangeline Pascual was crowned first runner-up in the 1973 Miss World. When the winner was disqualified and the crown was offered to her, she declined as a sign of protest to what she thought was an unfair decision made by the judges.
