Justin Bieber posts hospital pic; Tweets “getting better” after collapse
CEBU, Philippines - Justin Bieber must be feeling better.
The 19-year-old pop star posted an abs-on-display pic from his hospital bed last night in London, just hours after experiencing shortness of breath and collapsing during his show at O2 Arena.
Bieber, who’s wearing headphones in the pic, wrote that he was on the mend while listening to Janis Joplin.
“Getting better,†he also tweeted. “thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love.â€
Bieber was administered oxygen backstage and then, against a doctor’s recommendation, returned to finish the show.
Concertgoers told E! News that the packed house was cheering and chanting his name throughout in support.
The Canadian singer had not been suffering from any health issues prior to the show, the spokeswoman added.
Fans had already started circulating the hashtag “#justintakeabreak†on Twitter after news of his collapse spread on the social network.
Bieber was performing for the third out of four nights at London’s O2 Arena as part of the European leg of his sold-out “Believe†world tour. (FREEMAN)
