Triple Fret in guitar extravaganza

CEBU, Philippines - Guitar loving Cebuanos should look out for the upcoming performance of the all-girl guitar trio Triple Fret in Guitar Extravaganza on 17 August 2012, 8pm at the Marcelo B. Fernan Cebu Press Center.

Triple Fret is composed of Marga Abejo, Cate Belle and Jenny de Vera. The group was formed in 2011 and formally launched themselves as a trio in a mini concert in UP School of Economics. In the few months they’ve been together, they have performed in various places in Metro Manila. The group also performed in the First International Jazz and Blues Guitar Festival. They are currently expanding their pieces to include diverse genre.

Performing with Triple Fret are the winners of the 2011 and 2012 Philippine International Guitar Festival in Manila, Ramoncito Carpio and Franco Maigue.

This event is presented by Arts Council of Cebu Foundation, Inc., Cebu Luthiers Education Foundation, Guitar Friends and Marco Polo Plaza Hotel Cebu.
