Angelu de Leon's secret to inner peace

Angelu de Leon looked great when we saw her at the presscon of “Hindi Ka Na Mag-Iisa” held the other night at the Executive Lounge of GMA 7.

The actress is playing a kontrabida role in the drama series which features Jennylyn Mercado in the lead role.

Sometime in March we had an interview with Angelu for a glossy magazine in their home in Quezon City together with her husband, Wowie Rivera. She already looked trim even though she had only given birth to her son Rafael. She looks so happy and her face shows it.

“Masaya lang talaga ako because things had been great,” says the former Viva Films contract artist who starred in several box-office hits. After she gave birth to her first child (by actor Joko Diaz), she did the lead role in the award-winning film “Bulaklak ng Maynila” for which she won best supporting at the Metro Manila Film Festival.

She’s excited to be a part of “Hindi Ka Na Mag-iisa” where she’s playing kontrabida opposite Jennylyn. “It’s fun to portray kontrabida because I get to experiment. Since this is not the first time for me to play kontrabida, I am able to give my role a different attack each time. Plus I am happy to be working with Jen who is a very good actress.”
