Richard Gutierrez finds a new hobby; Carla Abellana nominated as Yahoo! OMG! Actress of the Year

CEBU, Philippines - Today’s bankable and sought after actor, Richard Gutierrez, discovers a new vice to keep him sane while taping episodes for his GMA’s teledrama Makapiling kang Muli.

The actor is now active on Instagram, a mobile application which allows a user to share his/her captured photos.

As of press time, he has more than nine thousand followers on his Instagram account @richardgutz. He’s fond of sharing behind-the-scene photos from Makapiling kang Muli set.

Meanwhile, his loveteam Carla Abellana is nominated for 2012 Yahoo! OMG! Awards’ Actress of the Year.

Yahoo! OMG! Awards recognizes the most-searched celebrities based on trending metric in the Yahoo! Philippines Search Engine. Winners for each category are the most voted stars by the online community in the Yahoo! poll that will run until June 28.

On Makapiling kang Muli, Martin (Richard Gutierrez) shares the story of his childhood to Mara (Rio Locsin) and how he surpassed every hardship in his life amidst the fact that he doesn’t know who his real parents are.
