Zac Efron dons yellow moustache to promote The Lorax
CEBU, Philippines - He may be only 24 years old, but Zac Efron is already sporting the moustache of an older man.
The actor showed off some giant yellow facial hair as he celebrated Read Across America in New York with Danny Devito recently. However, his hardcore fans needn't worry as the star's latest look was just a joke.
Efron and Devito were in fact promoting their latest film, The Lorax, as well as reading to students in the Big Apple.
The acting pair were seen laughing as they helped one another put on their facial hair - which represented the film's main character, the Lorax.
The occasion also marked the celebration of what would have been Dr Seuss' 108th birthday, as he wrote the original story of The Lorax.
The main character in the film, voiced by Devito, finds a 12-year-old boy searching for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams.
Efron provides the voice of the young boy, named Ted, who must discover the story of the Lorax - the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.
The film also stars Taylor Swift, who portrays the voice of Ted's love interest, Audrey.
Talking about the film recently, Swift said: “Dr Seuss books were a huge huge part of my childhood and it really made me fall in love with the way you can make words bounce off a page if you get them in the right syncopation.” (FREEMAN)
