The source told E! News: 'They are totally dating.'

CEBU, Philippines - The claims come just months after the pair first sparked rumours they had taken their friendship to the next level following a picture of the couple together at a New York nightclub.

At the time, a representative for Avatar actress Saldana denied the claims.

The rumoured relationship comes just a month after Saldana and fiancé Keith Britton announced they had amicably split after 11 years together.

Meanwhile, Cooper, who was voted People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive earlier this year, has recently been linked to French actress Melanie Laurent following a rumored dalliance with Jennifer Lopez. (FREEMAN)
