KC-Piolo split a done deal?

SHOWBIZ DRIBBLE - Salve V. Asis -

Up until last week, neither KC Concepcion or Piolo Pascual refused to admit that their relationship has completely melted down. KC herself and her mother Sharon Cuneta have come close to spilling the beans. The Megastar has hinted that she was not too thrilled that Piolo was taking her daughter for granted. The couple appeared together on TV to deny their relationship was getting toxic. But the cracks are beginning to show.

Just recently KC made veiled remarks about her feelings for the “one” she loves. “Just because you love someone, it doesn't mean there won't come a time when you have to let go for that person's happiness and maybe for your own. And also, to love also means sometimes, to let go,” she said.

When pressed to elaborate, KC begged off, saying, “I’ll just talk when I’m ready. I don’t want to hurt other people’s feelings.”

It took quite a while before KC and Piolo revealed that they were sweethearts. Now they are also taking a long time admitting it’s over.

Sharon has been a revered kapamilya for many years, and we genuinely wish her well in her new journey. We will truly miss her.”

Joey de Leon’s guesting in KrisTV was a big media event. The comedian was promoting his film "Won't Last A Day Without You," produced by Star Cinema, ABS-CBN’s cinema outfit, and which stars Gerald Anderson and Sarah Geronimo.

But Joey was completely taken by surprise when Kris played a video of her brother, President Benigno Aquino III. The President praised Joey’s contribution to the local entertainment industry.

"It’s really admirable that for more than three decades your shows have entertained our countrymen and you have continued your advocacy to help the needy,” the President said.

He thanked Joey’s family for launching Agap Silid Pangarap in Caloocan City, an educational project for poor but deserving children.

Andi Eigenmann gave birth to a 7.8-pound baby girl last Wednesday.

Andi has decided to name the baby Adrianna Gabrielli.

The actress was expecting a normal delivery, but her doctors decided on a caesarian section because there were some risks involved.

Andi’s mother Jaclyn Jose missed the birth of her granddaughter after being stuck in traffic while rushing to the hospital from an out-of-town taping.

“I was so frustrated I wanted to get out of the car and push all the cars that were in front of us,” Jaclyn said.

The fuss over the new baby has swept aside for now the question of who the father is. But there will be time enough to confront that issue, I suppose.
