"The Boor and The Proposal" and "Welcome to IntelStar"

CEBU, Philippines - Cebu-based theater production company, Little Boy Productions marks its 10th anniversary today, November 26 with back-to-back shows at the CAP Art Center of its popular titles “The Boor and The Proposal” and “Welcome to IntelStar”.

Russian playwright Anton Chekhov’s "The Boor and The Proposal" was a hit with audiences when it played to packed houses last summer. "The Boor" shows how close anger and love are when a creditor hounds a young widow but becomes so impressed by her fighting nature that he proposes marriage. "The Proposal" tells how an attempt to propose marriage by a neurotic gentleman ends up in a petty argument with the crazy girl to whom he is proposing to.

Starring Rhea Fantonial Bautista, Kristian Malintad, Seth Bacalso, Bata Reambonanza, Penny Gavino Reambonanza and Thomas Pua, "The Boor and The Proposal" will be staged at 3:00 pm.

“Welcome to IntelStar” is the interactive call center comedy (audience participation is a must!) starring Jude Bacalso who plays Miss Chelsea, a high-level trainer conducting an orientation seminar to the audience who “plays” the part of her new batch of call center trainees. Entertaining yet also an incisive social commentary on the call center phenomenon, Chris Martinez’ "Welcome to Intelstar" will be staged at 7:00 pm.
