Miss Lapu-Lapu 2011 Bares 14 Candidates
CEBU, Philippines - In time for Lapu-Lapu City's upcoming annual fiesta is the awaited search for the Oponganons' fairest ambassadress with the Miss Lapu-Lapu 2011 pageant.
The beauty tilt kicked off with a press presentation of the 14 candidates at the poolside of Plantation Bay resort in Mactan.
The young ladies who will slug it out come coronation night this November 20 at the Lapu-Lapu City Auditorium (beside the Birhen de Regla Church) are: Ma. Karessa Camille Toring, Michelle Karin Holzer, Christina Isabel Valle, Mary Rose Booc, Rochen Donan Pepito, Nhards Marie Solis and Anna Margarette Bascon.
Completing the official list of finalists are Kreeshalaine Diamos, Reinalyn Nonol, Niña Siivola, Fatima Faith Potot, Alyssa Jane Andoy, Banjie Sagarino and Katherine Mae Booc.
They represent various barangays of Lapu-Lapu, including Canjulao, Poblacion, Marigondon, Gun-ob, Basak, Ibo, Calawisan, Agus and Pusok.
The Miss Lapu-Lapu winner is set to receive P30,000 cash and other major sponsor prizes.
