Kiddie cooks reinvent Pinoy silog meals in "Junior masterchef Pinoy edition"

CEBU, Philippines - Forget your usual coffee and pan de sal because the “Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition” goes full and heavy today (October 23) with another all-time Filipino breakfast favorite – the silog.

The top five contenders who will win in a series of challenges that includes separating egg yolk from the white, making meringue, and poaching eggs will participate in the silog creativity test that aims to bring out the kids’ imagination in preparing the classic Pinoy meal.

See how the five will add twist to the usual fried rice and egg dish with unique creations such as herb crusted lamburgsilog, porksilog steak, rice in ampalaya silog and adsilog manilena.

Meanwhile, bottom scorers in the Top 18 will have to catch up in the numbers race today to accumulate points needed to avoid elimination next week.
