KBP's Phoebe Kaye Fernandez is Miss Cebu Press Freedom 2011
agTV host Phoebe Kaye Fernandez emerged as 2011 Miss Cebu Press Freedom besting three other representatives of local dailies: Darling Chyrmyth Wagas of The FREEMAN (1st runner-up), Gwenith Jill Tatoy of Sunstar Cebu (2nd runner-up), Rhea Ruth Rosell of Cebu Daily News (3rd- runner up).
Nursing graduate Fernandez earlier also bagged the Miss Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas-Cebu chapter crown.
Judges were media savvy PR manager Jaja Chiongbian-Rama, 2008 Miss Cebu Sian Maynard, ironman and physical therapist, Dr. Reel Bontol, fashion designer Lemuel Rosos and 2008 Miss Earth Karla Henry.
Entertainment was provided by The FREEMAN Divas (Nina Sumacot, Marigold Lebumfacil, Jessica Ann Pareja and Elecis Jane Quimpan).
Miss Cebu Press Freedom, organized by e-group, was held Saturday night at Formo.
