TV5's Cebu invasion continues
CEBU CITY, Philippines —TV5’s Cebu invasion goes on as the Kapatid Network kicks off the second wave of ‘Sugod mga Kapatid’ network campaign in Cebu from June 22 to 25. To celebrate its three-fold nationwide viewership increase in the past year, TV5 treats Cebuanos with activities and performances featuring several Kapatid programs which started on Wednesday (June 22). Capping off its Cebu touchdown is the live telecast of Wil Time Bigtime on Saturday (June 25) at South Road Project, Cebu City.
‘Sugod mga Kapatid’ Cebu caravan continues today as TV5 holds a motorcade at the heart of the city featuring various Kapatid stars from 1 to 2:30pm. Wil Time Bigtime’s Shalani Soledad with the show’s three female hosts and the Bigtime Girls will be joining the motorcade.
The country’s biggest talent show, Talentadong Pinoy, will also hold auditions and feature performances from talent scouts Regine Tolentino and Pretty Trizhia with this year’s Ultimate Talentado Joseph the Artist and TP Hall of Famer The Zion Show from 1 to 4pm at the SM City Cebu parking lot. At 4:30pm, get up-close and personal with the cast of the newest popular youth-oriented show Bagets with Cebu’s Pride and Star Factor Brightest Star Eula Caballero, Meg Imperial, Nadine Ilustre, Shai Sigrist, Rico dela Paz, AJ Muhlach, Josh Padilla, Johan Laurens and Aki Torio also at the SM City Cebu parking lot.
TV5’s news and information division NEWS5, through its AKSYON Center, will conduct a major public service event at E-Mall, Cebu City on Saturday from 1 to 6pm to reach out to Cebuano Kapatids in need. Cheryl Cosim’s Alagang Kapatid holds medical mission; Erwin Tulfo’s Tutok Tulfo conducts free legal clinic; Paolo Bediones’s USI gives disaster preparedness and survival training with RESCUE5; Raffy Tulfo’s Wanted offers public assistance desk; and morning show Sapul sa Singko conducts relationship and love counselling.
TV5’s Cebu invasion wraps up on Saturday with the Kapatid Network bringing the people’s show, Wil Time Bigtime, to Cebu. Willie Revillame and Shalani Soledad promise to put up a great show with Wil Time Bigtime’s family-oriented games utilizing state-of-the-art high-definition set at the South Road Project (SRP), South Reclamation Area in Cebu City.
