Zsa Zsa's marriage annuled, finally

CEBU, Philippines - After a decade of waiting, Zsa Zsa Padilla finally got what she has been longing for: The annulment of her marriage.

The court has finally granted, with finality, her petition for annulment of her marriage to Dr. Modesto Tatlonghari, as reported in Ricky Lo’s Philippine Star column on Saturday, May 21.

“I’m free again,” Padilla told Ricky Lo in an exclusive interview a few hours after she received the good news last Thursday afternoon.

Padilla and Dr. Tatlonghari (a dentist) had their civil wedding in August 1980 and a church wedding in September of the same year.

Padilla met and fell in love with Dolphy in 1989.

In 2001, Padilla filed her petition for annulment of her marriage to Tatlonghari.

Seven years ago, Zsa Zsa and partner Dolphy were already poised on saying their “I do’s”. The couple planned a Las Vegas wedding but it had to be cancelled at the eleventh hour.

Now that Zsa Zsa is finally free to marry the love of her life, would the Filipinos finally hear wedding bells?
