Charice's new single produced by Bruno Mars

CEBU, Philippines - International singing sensation Charice’s new single “Before It Explodes” is produced by no less than Bruno Mars.

This was confirmed by the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter himself in an interview with The Philippine Star’s Ricky Lo when he was in Cebu recently for a concert. 

A preview of “Before It Explodes” is available on Amazon.com and is reportedly hitting the airwaves on April 18.

Meanwhile, the Filipino-American pop star was named by People Magazine as one of the Most Beautiful of 2011 (25 Beauties and Hotties at 25), joining the likes of “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson, “Red Riding Hood” star Amanda Seyfried, “Transformers” star Shia LeBeouf, among others.

The US magazine explained his inclusion in the roster: “The R&B pop star from Hawaii always had the It factor – just check out recently surfaced videos of him as a 4-year-old. Wearing an Elvis jumpsuit and doing an impersonation of The King, Mars says, ‘I like his singing and his dance and his lips.’ Two decades later, the ‘Grenade’ singer is entertaining audiences with his very own throwback style.”
