Sarah Geronimo, Cristine Reyes end rift

Is it true that the production staff of Juicy, the daily showbiz talk show of TV5, is having a hard time adjusting to its new time slot?

They are said to be disappointed that the show airs so late in the evening because their pre-programming show, Willie Revillame’s Willing Willie, always goes overtime, eating up Juicy’s air time as well.

Juicy’s morning edition had been scrapped by TV5 and was moved to the timeslot after Willing Willie.

But it’s certainly going to be a problem for Juicy if Willing Willie will always go overtime because viewers could not make it a habit to watch the show out of confusion as to what time Juicy is really airing.

No matter how interesting the showbiz news of Juicy are and no matter how entertaining the hosts of Juicy, namely Cristy Fermin, DJ Mo Twister, Alex Gonzaga, IC Mendoza and Shalala, are, the show could not create that much impact if it can’t be viewed on a regular timeslot.

Sarah Geronimo and Cristine Reyes kissed and made up at the backstage of ASAP Rocks where Sarah is a mainstay and Cristine was a guest last Sunday. It was Sarah herself who revealed the news when she appeared on The Buzz last Sunday.

Sarah said she had long wanted to talk to Cristine and say sorry to the new girl of her ex-boyfriend Rayver Cruz, but there was no chance.

After the issue that happened between her, Cristine and Rayver, Sarah said she wished that this problem with Cristine would be settled.

Although many people were saying that what happened to her was rather too hurting for her to make the first move to say sorry to Cristine, the Pop Star still did it.

After all, Sarah said, Cristine also was hurt and she needs to apologize to her.

It was because of her eyeliner that her makeup artist left in the ASAP dressing room that prompted the reconciliation. It so happened that when she was approaching the dressing room to get it, she saw Cristine heading out of the room. She then took the initiative and courage to finally approach Cristine.

They momentarily stared at each other, and it seemed Cristine even wanted to avoid her that’s why Sarah called the sexy star’s name. She said she was also kind of scared because she wasn’t sure if Cristine would accept her apology. Or would she only hurt in the process.

So what Sarah did was to embrace Cristine and did not let go of her. “Cristine, wala akong intensiyon na saktan ka,” said Sarah while she was hugging Cristine. All that Cristine was able to say was “Okay” and then she also said sorry to Sarah.

Sarah was even surprised to see that Cristine was teary-eyed but she was happy and relieved that they have kissed and made up. Now, there’s no need for them to avoid each other on ASAP.

Cristine also apologized to Mommy Divine (mom of Sarah).

Sarah said she’s very happy that her rift with Cristine has ended. Many people were impressed that Sarah made the move to make peace with Cristine.

But there were also those who commented that Sarah did apologize for good vibes. Her movie with Gerald Anderson for Star Cinema titled Catch Me..I’m In Love opens today in theaters nationwide.

The start of the week started with the dreadful news about the death of sexy actor John Apacible who was allegedly shot by his uncle after an argument during a drinking session. The actor succumbed to two gunshot wounds in the chest and was declared dead on arrival at the hospital where he was rushed after the unfortunate incident.

John is the third showbiz personality who died in recent weeks. First was character actor Paquito Diaz, then veteran actor Armando Goyena. May their souls rest in peace. We’d also like to extend our condolences to the family of John Apacible.
