Iza on becoming sexy and fit

Iza Calzado is the newest endorser of Flawless and is the female spokesperson of the new weight loss line of the company. Gorgeous and svelte, Iza is the perfect representative of the line, having been very open and honest with her past battle against obesity.

Iza has always been very candid about her journey towards her current sexy body. Although once obese as a child, Iza now follows a regimen of diet and exercise to maintain her figure. She learned how to run, box, and even pole dance just so to lose weight. She believes in eating small meals every few hours to increase the body’s metabolic rate and to help the body remain slim.

Iza is one celebrity who has stayed on top of fitness and nutrition discoveries, finding new and interesting ways to keep her weight down, all in very healthy and productive ways. She has never been the type to punish herself by following a strict regimen. Iza is the best kind of dieter—she forgives herself for the occasional slip-ups, but on the whole, she is aware of how much her body can take in order to maintain her now sexy shape.

Iza won the Best Actress award at the 7th Golden Screen Awards for her excellent performance in Dukot. Recently, Eat Bulaga, the country’s top-rated noontime show on GMA, also got her as one of the hosts.

She’s a welcome addition to Eat Bulaga. She also became a “victim” at Pinoy Henyo’s shower of fun, getting her head doused by the unknown liquid that was poured on the head of the EB dabarkads picked to enter the chamber. But she took the “dousing” good-naturedly and with a smile on her face. She’s obviously having fun in the show.

Robin Padilla is interested to study the new technology being used by today’s filmmakers which is called CGI or Computer Generated Images. The action superstar said he has a new project in mind, which has to utilize CGI.

It was while doing a number of commercials that Robin had his first encounter with CGI. But he got dismayed when he got turned down by the technical people doing CGI to do a movie with him. These people said they would rather make commercials because the job pays more, unlike in the movies where the pay is not too lucrative.

In his desire to be able to take advantage of the new technology, he even had to send a person to school so he could use that person’s expertise in using CGI. The action star believes that with the help of CGI, he can come up with the kind of action film that he really wants.

For now, Robin is busy with the promo of Tum (My Pledge of Love), the movie which he shot in India and which pairs him with his wife Mariel Rodriguez.

Award-winning director Joel Lamangan is happy with Magic Palayok, his new TV show on GMA 7 because it’s for kids.

“Hindi ko akalain na aalukin ako ng GMA ng programang pambata. Akala ko hindi ako marunong gumawa nang pambata pero kaya ko pala,” said the director at the presscon of Magic Palayok.

“Nagustuhan ko ang show kasi kakaiba ito. I haven’t done anything like this in the past,” he added. He also enjoys working with the kids, plus the show boasts of special effects that add up to its appeal.

Is it true that a popular actor is reportedly thinking of sacking his manager? He had been hearing complaints from some people with the way his manager had been treating them. The manager, in most cases, wouldn't want to answer questions about the male actor. No amount of messages via MMS, email, or Facebook could make the manager budge and reply.

But the popular male actor doesn't have the heart to tell the manager that he wants to severe ties with her. First of all, she's a lady and the popular actor has high regard for women. But the manager reportedly did something that irked the actor so much - she quarreled with the actor's wife.

Will the actor make good on his threat of sacking his manager or will he let the incident pass and give the manager a second chance?
