The Company sings for Cebuanos on Dec. 17

-

CEBU, Philippines - The Company, the country’s foremost performing group, is set to perform at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu on December 17 at 6pm.

The Company started out as back-up vocalists for the Philippines’ top artists since its formation in 1985 by members of the Ateneo University Glee Club. Eventually, the group turned professional and entered the mainstream, becoming in-demand concert performers and recording artists until this very day.

The Company has been expanding their musical styles. For more than two decades, the band released multiple albums and received numerous accolades, making them one of the most awarded recording vocal groups of the country.

Some of the group’s trendy cover songs include “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys; “Do You Remember” by Jay Sean; “Thinking of You” by Katy Perry; “One Less Lonely Girl/Boy” by Justine Bieber; “Fireflies” by Owl City; “Half Of My Heart” by John Mayer; “Fifteen” by Taylor Swift; “Let’s Just Fall In Love Again” by Jason Castro; “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat; “Smile” by Lily Allen; “You Belong With Me” also by Taylor Swift; “Two Is Better Than One” by Boys Like Girls; “Good Girls Go Bad” by Cobra Starship; and “Where Are You Now” by Honor Society among others.

They continually enhance their musical styles and indulge in various genres from traditional/ classical to pop, jazz to dance, R&B, novelty, rap, acapella, Christmas, swing, alternative and even gospel.
