-

CEBU, Philippines - SuperFerry brings singer-comedienne Tuesday Vargas and Pinoy rock band 6cyclemind to Bogo City tomorrow, October 16, for the culminating concert of the Biyaheng Bayan Caravan in the Visayas region. The free-for-all concert starts 6:00 pm tomorrow at the Gabriel Flash Elorde Community Stadium in Bogo City.

SuperFerry kicked off the Cebu leg in Toledo City last October 12 and proceeded to visit the cities of Naga, Mandaue, and Bogo, bringing with it loads of festivities including a marching band, parlor games, and raffle.

The Caravan also had simultaneous recorida events in and around these cities, covering 15 towns and barangays, including Balamban, Talisay, Carcar, Mactan, Lapulapu, and San Remigio.

Co-presented by supply chain solutions provider 2GO, the Biyaheng Bayan Caravan visits customers in different public markets, jeepney and bus terminals, holding pocket events with games and prizes. SuperFerry round trip tickets and SuperFerry limited edition items are given away during the pocket events.

The Caravan brings Todo Todo Sail Sale in the event venues and participating outlets, with a ticket from Manila to Visayas (vice versa) selling for P588; while a ticket from Manila to Mindanao (vice versa) selling for P888. Fares are inclusive of VAT and other fees. Online bookings via www.superferry.com.ph offer the lowest possible fares.

"After all charges are paid, we believe that SuperFerry fares remain substantially lower than other alternatives," says Andrew Deyto, SuperFerry VP for Sales and Marketing.

SuperFerry's free baggage allowance up to 50 kilos is perfect for those who want to bring home boxes of pasalubong for their relatives.

The Biyaheng Bayan Caravan started its Visayas tour in Kabankalan, Negros Occidental last September 17 and proceeded to Bacolod City, Bago City, Victorias, Cadiz, and San Carlos, all in Negros Occidental. There were also simultaneous recorida events in more than 15 barangays in the province.

The Visayas Caravan then visited Negros Oriental with a kickoff at Guihulngan on September 29 before proceeding to Ayungon, Bais, Tanjay, and finally, Dumaguete City on October 3. Small pocket events were held in more than 10 barangays around these areas.

The third stop of the Visayas Caravan was Bohol province from October 7 to 9, bringing the festivities to Ubay, Jagna, and Tagbilaran City.
