Coco Martin readies for Brillante Mendoza film, co-stars with French actress
Coco Martin has begged off from the Star Cinema filmfest entry Dalaw which would have reunited him with Kris Aquino (whom he worked with in Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo).
According to his manager Biboy Arboleda, they have already informed Star Cinema about their desire to back out of the project so they could concentrate on the TV series Idol. The Star Cinema people agreed to let Coco go.
Biboy also said that Coco wants to prepare for the new movie that he's doing with Cannes best director Dante Mendoza, wherein he will co-star with a French actress. It's Coco's birthday on Nov. 1 and as a birthday treat, Maalaala Mo Kaya is supposedly preparing for a special episode for him to mark his birthday.

Starstruck Second Prince Rocco Nacino is excited to be finally working with Kris Bernal. He promised to come early on his first taping day for the series titled Koreana, which will also feature Starstruck V Ultimate Male Survivor Steven Silva in his acting debut in a TV series.
Since Steven is a newbie, Rocco generously shared with him his experiences in doing tapings for teleseryes, having done quite a few like Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak. With regards to Steven's inability to speak Tagalog fluently, Rocco volunteered to coach him if needed.
"As a friend, I told him what he has to improve on and one of them is his speaking voice," said Rocco. Both of them have a crush on Kris but Rocco said that won't be a problem for him and Steven.

Balikbayan Josh Ocampo is a Filipino-Spanish looker who dreams of making a name for himself in showbiz, the old fashioned way. That is, through discipline, hard work, and focus.
Only two years since returning from the US where he stayed for six years, Josh has been making a good impression on people not only because of what they see in him, but also what they sense in him. Many give Josh the second look the moment they see him, but it is when he opens his mouth that people are won over.
One of his passions is acting. While others enter showbiz for the fame or the money, Josh simply aims to please audiences. He loves entertaining people, and finds joy in the sound of applause.
“It’s like being told, ‘Good job, Josh,” he said.
The 5’10” Capricorn won’t stop at anything to achieve his dreams. These days, Josh is hard at work training his body; making it even buffer than it already is in preparation for the kind of roles he wants to get in the near future, particularly in the drama and action genres. Aside from taking care of his looks, Josh has been undergoing singing and dance lessons.
He will not shrink from sexy roles if these will hone him further into becoming a better actor. He is ready for intrigues that people might hurl at him---better yet, he resolves not to give them a reason to do so.
“I will only take on projects and do things that will make my lolo and lola proud,” he said.
It was his grandparents who advised him to try out showbiz. Initially, Josh wanted to become a professional basketball player until they told him that he is better off trying his luck in showbiz as he possesses the qualities that give him advantages over other aspirants (his looks, height, drive, natural talent in acting, build, the right age, et cetera).
Some of the actors that Josh admires are Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Zac Efron and Robert de Niro. Given the chance, he’d like to work with Cristine Reyes and Andi Eigenmann.
When not hard at work, Josh relaxes by playing computer and engaging in sports such as basketball, running, swimming, football and golf.
Josh is currently a 4th year student at St. Joseph’s College. He has appeared on several TV shows and commercials.
