Sarah Geronimo isn’t switching channels after all.
There were rumors that the Pop Star Princess was quitting ABS-CBN and transferring to TV5. But last week, Sarah renewed her contract as a Kapamilya.
Why is she sticking it out with ABS-CBN? “I feel so much at home here, and ABS-CBN has helped a lot in my career. It was here where I came to be known as an actress in teleseryes, and even in films by Star Cinema. I’m so happy here I have no reason to leave.”
Sarah’s latest project with ABS-CBN is the musical series “Idol,” which premiered on Monday.
The buzz that she was moving to TV5 worried her no end. “I asked my manager and he told me it wasn’t true.”

Lovi Poe wears a tattoo and is proud of it.
The tattoo on her torso was in prominent display during her pictorial for Bench, which has signed her up as an endorser. Soon her picture will be on giant billboards as the newest Body Bench.
Explains Lovi, she had the tattoo drawn during the first death anniversary of her dad, the former action king Fernando Poe Jr. The words “My Wing, My Gravity" is a tribute to FPJ.
“It’s like a balance: he makes me fly, but puts me back to the ground,” Lovi told a movie scribe.
She’s “super-excited” about seeing her image blown up several times on tarpaulin.
Motorists are bound to get excited too once they see her drop-dead figure. The surprising thing is that she doesn’t diet or go to the gym. “I just have an overactive metabolism.” Lucky girl.
Lovi admits she was surprised when Bench asked her to be its endorser because she doesn’t consider herself sexy.
She didn’t have time to prep for the photo shoot. “They told me the pictorial was to be on Sunday so I didn’t have time to work out or anything.”
Aside from the Bench project, Lovi is busy juggling other projects. She’s doing a month-long Love Bug special with Mark Anthony Fernandez.
After Mark, she will have Rocco Nacino in the Love Bug episode.
Lovi is also cast in Regal Films’ White House along with Iza Calzado, Mo Twister, Joem Bascon, Sarah Lahbati and Gabby Concepcion. White House opens on October 13.
And then there’s the remake of Temptation Island and her third album with Universal Records.

Regine Velasquez’s wedding gown will be created by international designer Monique Lhuillier. The gown is said to be the gift of Vicki Belo. The cosmetic surgeon to the stars will stand as one of the sponsors when Regine marries Ogie Alcasid.
The gown won’t be white. “I’ve been a bride several times in film and on TV wearing white, so in real life I want something different. Besides, you know, I’m not…,” says Asia’s Songbird.
