South Side Rock at Persimmon Plus

CEBU, Philippines - Get a rockin’ high this Saturday, August 28, at The Persimmon Plus. 

The South Tour of Manila-based DRT (pronounced “dirt”), Head and Kastigo stages a grand finale at the city’s hippest destination, together with Cebu’s very own MNK, Gravecandle and Maypond.

The rock party is this weekend’s highlight of a series of interesting happenings at The Persimmon Plus.  

The Aboitiz Group of Companies displays photos from the Race to Reduce Challenge held last Sunday, August 22. Sykes Asia also holds a job fair at the same venue from 9 am-4 pm at The Persimmon today.

The Persimmon Plus, located in Mabolo, anchors AboitizLand, Inc.’s popular residential condominium The Persimmon, with its superb mix of shops and stores surrounding a sleekl, al fresco atrium. 

Everyone and anyone who’s cool, creative and candid should drop in at any or all of these exciting events.

Billed South Side Rock Collective, the party tonight is a venue for creative self-expression through alternative sounds.

Head has three young and talented musicians ready to take over a music scene that is “in dire need of change”. They consider themselves soldiers of knowledge—music their ammo, the band, their weapon.

DRT, a four-piece act, has been shaking the industry since 2003, Its members trace their roots to well-known Manila-based bands playing rock and alternative music.

Kastigo (in Visayan, to punish) speaks as a group of bold and true musicians, fiercely faithful to their music—“pure rock”.
