Van Roxas is back

CEBU, Philippines -  “Pinoy Dream Academy” Season 2 star dreamer Van Roxas has rejoined Philippine showbiz after a brief respite in the US via the mini-series on ABS-CBN every Sunday entitled “Your Song presents Maling Akala.”

Handpicked for his role, Van, who is more known as an aspiring musician, is feeling blessed because of the opportunity, and another field at that, given to him by the network.

“After Pinoy Dream Academy (season 2), I went back to the States to continue my studies. I took up Clinical Nursing Assistance. But when I learned about the opportunities lined up for me, I asked permission from my mom to come back. Sayang also so I grabbed it,” shared Van, who was then studying to be a nurse at Cebu Doctors University when he decided to join the singing reality search PDA.

Though busy now on his second wind, so to speak, for he is also part of ABS-CBN’s upcoming musical series, Van still plans to take further studies and eventually take the Licensed Practical Nurse curriculum.
