Philippine Opera's "Harana" At SM

CEBU, Philippines - The Philippine Opera Company presents “Harana” on May 18 at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu. Harana is Philippine Opera Company’s newest addition to its exciting line-up of show packages. Harana aims to showcase the evolution of Philippine music through songs and movements. It is composed of 8 highly celebrated singers - each an accomplished soloist in his own right.

The Philippine Opera Company is the only opera company in the country that produces regular opera productions. The POC was founded in 1999 and being managed by classical singers who perform at major venues in Manila and abroad.

Philippine Opera Company’s “Music and Lyrics” and “Tribute to Pavarotti” were named as 2007’s “Best Shows of the Last Quarter”.
