Paolo Bediones: Time for career change, growth
PLUS: Coco Martin on a winning streak
With the recent transfer of seasoned TV personality Paolo Bediones to TV5 where, aside from being a contract artist, he will also hold an executive position as part of the network’s talent development, Paolo will be bringing a wealth of experience borne out of 14 years of being part of the Kapuso network.
At the TV5 press party where it was finally revealed that Paolo is, indeed, with the TV station owned by Manny V. Pangilinan, the TV host said he gave it much thought and discernment before deciding to leave GMA 7. He said it was not an easy decision to make, since GMA became a huge part of his life as a broadcaster and TV host.
But he said that it was time to make a change, for the betterment of his career. He realized he needed career growth as well.
The offer of TV5 was probably too tempting for Paolo to resist, but if GMA had no counter offer, it was but right for Paolo to seek greener pastures.
He also thought that it would be a good idea to be a part of the expansion project of TV5, which is now being managed by Media Quest, the wholly-owned investee company of PLDT’s Beneficial Trust Fund, which is headed by business tycoon Manny V. Pangilinan.

Kris Aquino revealed on The Buzz last Sunday that she was scolded by ABS-CBN executive and her manager Deo Endrinal for uploading photos of her new ABS-CBN teleserye to her Facebook account, where she has Gabby Concepcion as one of her co-stars.
The actress-TV host said that she’s excited about working in the new series that she can’t help but upload pictures taken from the taping.
Just a few minutes before the closing spiel of The Buzz (we were at the studio last Sunday), Kris excused herself, saying that she needs to leave pronto as she has to report for the shooting of “Mapo Po 6” where she is playing the role of Sharon Cuneta’s friend. She didn’t want to make her co-stars and Direk Joel Lamangan wait since a big scene was about to be shot that schedule.
If you recall, Kris won a best supporting actress award for “Mano Po” several years back. She’s excited for “Mano Po 6” because she’s playing opposite Sharon and she didn’t mind doing it for free.
