Manny Pacquiao sings on US primetime show
CEBU, Philippines - Here’s a testament to Manny Pacquiao’s worldwide appeal. The boxing champ finally made it to American primetime television through an appearance on the popular talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC.
Apart from promoting his November 14 mega-fight with welterweight champion Miguel Cotto, Pacman also bantered and joked with its host Jimmy Kimmel and even obliged a request for a song.
Manny’s fans online are already abuzz with his appearance, describing the Pound for Pound King as always smiling, very relaxed and humble.
When asked by Jimmy if he was the most popular person in the Philippines, Pacman just smiled and never answered the question. Kimmel also asked Manny about his dog named Pacman as well as his big entourage (Manny explained that he has 30. “Everyone is assigned. I have one guy who cook for me, wash my clothes…”).
Finally, he rendered the love song “Sometimes When We Touch,” turning the studio and its live audience into one big karaoke session. A happy Kimmel gave Manny a big hug to end his guesting and interview.
