Rufa Mae Quinto, Akihiro Sato in "Moshi, Moshi, I love You!"

CEBU, Philippines - She is a true-blue soap opera enthusiast. A survivor of countless misfortunes and bad luck. And now, armed with her wits and sheer determination, Perseveranda Vindoy lives the biggest telenovela of her life.

Beginning October 15, SRO Cinemaserye brings an extraordinarily hilarious story of a woman who will fight tooth and nail to win the heart of her dream boy. Roll with laughter as seasoned actress/comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto takes the spotlight in the four-part episode of “Moshi, Moshi, I Love You!”  

Together with hunk model/actor Akihiro Sato, Rufa Mae unleashes her one of a kind comic genius as she plays the role of Perseveranda Vindoy, a simple woman with a big heart and big dreams.

Perseveranda is addicted to telenovelas. She finds inspiration in the stories and characters of these shows which she believes mirrors her own life. Among her favorites is the Asian telenovela Tokyo With Love which stars Japanese actor Akihiro Watanabe.   

Her adulation for Akihiro develops into an obsession when she discovers that he plans to visit the country as part of the promotion of his new show.

Crazed by the desire to be close to Akihiro, Perseveranda does all sorts of crazy things just to make a knockout impression on his man. She tags along with her friend Cora and they both join the win-a-date-with-Akihiro contest. Both of them enter the finals.

Unfortunately, Cora is proclaimed winner and Perseveranda schemes to steal the prize from her. In her desperate moves to sabotage their date, she might end up foiling a kidnapping attempt on Akihiro purportedly masterminded by his manager.

Can Perseveranda save Akihiro from his ruthless kidnappers? Will Akihiro’s heart be blown away by Perseveranda’s noble deed? Who will win Akihiro’s love? Will Perseveranda finally have a happy ending with his one true love Akihiro?

SRO Cinemaserye’s new season is led by Director Andoy Ranay together with Jun Lana as headwriter. Rounding up the cast are Alicia Mayer, Gloria Sevilla, Mosang and Ricci Chan.

Moshi, Moshi, I Love You’s amusing and comical storyline and disarmingly talented cast is set to tickle the hearts of viewers every Thursday nights beginning October 15 right after Shining Inheritance on GMA Telebabad.
