Serendipity Band, Lui Castillo perform at BTC this May 15-17

CEBU, Philippines – Popular local band Serendipity and fast-rising soul singer Lui Castillo will perform live at Banilad Town Centre this weekend on May 15 to 17.

They will provide BTC customers with a fitting nightly entertainment as the neighborhood mall in Banilad goes on a 3-Day Cool Summer Sale.

The Serendipity Band will perform tonight, May 15, and tomorrow, May 16, for two sets, from sundown, or just about 6PM, at the ground floor entrance of the main BTC building facing the parking lot.

Serendipity was formed in 1999 with former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Angela Calina as lead singer. Now it has Rio Siao as its new voice, with Anthony Feliciano still as band leader/musical director, who became known for his “You Are The One” composition that Star Cinema used as theme for the Toni Gonzaga-Sam Milby movie. Completing the group are drummer Eric Cabahug and guitarist Barry Visoc, who are fresh from international stints.

Lui Castillo, meantime, is featured artist on Sunday, May 17, at the same time and venue. She performs pop, rhythm and blues, and songs popularized by male singers from the 70’s to the 90’s with her acoustic guitar.

BTC shoppers will enjoy as much as 50 percent off on several items. F&B tenants will offer some special treats, while the others will give discounts on their services. The 3-Day Summer Sale is part of the BTC Summer Experience program.
