The Loft Presents: The Penthouse

CEBU, Philippines - Prolific international DJ plays at grand launch of region’s ‘first’ superclub Bona fide superclubbing arrives in the region as Nocturnal presents the new wing of the region’s premier party destination, Loft Restaurant & Lounge (The LOFT), with the performance of one of the world’s finest resident DJs this March 14 in an event tagged as “The LOFT Presents: The Penthouse.”

Essentially the grand launch of The LOFT’s new wing, The Penthouse, the event is also the evolution of the region’s party scene and the coming-of-age of The LOFT. Within the four striking walls of The Penthouse are the state-of-the-art lights and sound technology that are unrivalled by any other club in the region. With the addition of this new wing, The LOFT commences the regular influx of the most illustrious of international DJs as the most multi-storied club in the area with not just three but, four party spaces. All in all, these herald The LOFT’s transformation into the first true superclub outside of Manila.

Coming to Cebu to play at “The LOFT Presents: The Penthouse” is prolific international DJ onewithaldrin (Aldrin), the top Resident DJ of one of the world’s top ten clubs, Zouk Club Singapore.

Aldrin’s resume reads like a dream. He was hailed “One of the World’s Finest Residents” and “Asia’s Number One DJ to Catch” in Ibiza by UK Dance Magazine MUZIK. Big guns such as John Digweed and Paul Oakenfold have hammered his tracks, and superstar DJ Danny Tenaglia singled him out as his “Future DJ Hero” in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 Poll.

Aldrin conquered international radio as the first Asian featured in Pete Tong’s world-famous BBC radio show, Essential Mix. Moreover, he is in huge demand at many of the world’s finest clubs, including Pacha, Space, and DC10 in Ibiza; Turnmills and The Cross in London, Cielo in New York, Womb in Tokyo, and Home in Sydney.

The country’s premier DJ and pioneer in the dance and electronica scene, Elmer Dado, is set to open for Aldrin. Hailed one of the “Twelve Geniuses in Pop Culture and Arts in the Philippines” by Preview Magazine, he has performed with world-famous DJs such as Tiestö, Armand Van Helden, and Deep Dish.
