The Loft Moves On To A New Chapter: Party destination unveils new additions tonight

CEBU, Philippines - An evolution in the region’s party scene is the call of order, and it will happen today, Feb. 28, at the Loft Restaurant & Lounge (The LOFT) in an event aptly titled “New Chapter.”

At the “New Chapter,” The LOFT will proudly present its two newest acquisitions, DJs Carlow and War. Carlow is accomplished in the areas of Sexy RnB and Electro HipHop; while House-, Progressive-, and Tech Trance-proficient War returns to the industry after a four-year sabbatical. Together with DJs Jan Areno and Mael Lavares, Carlow and War will make the all-star cast found only at The LOFT.

Three party spaces become four as “New Chapter” soft launches The LOFT’s brand-new wing. First unveiled during the recent Sinulog mardi gras, the new wing will return to stay on the Feb. 28 event as The Penthouse.

“New Chapter” will also usher in a new era in The LOFT experience as it sees the arrival of RnB and HipHop at The LOFT. Along with House, the new genres will play interchangeably in The LOFT’s Penthouse and Main Area.

Illustrious guest DJ Manolet Santos is set to play at “New Chapter.” Santos holds an extensive list of credits that couples numerous stints in the country with distinguished ones in New York, USA. He held DJ residencies in NYC’s China Club and Club Recession from 1991 to 1996 and, in 1994 to 1996, made big waves as he brought Filipino flavor to New York clubbing with his brainchild, the “Manila Nights” party sessions.
