Gabby Concepcion hopes for closure with Sharon Cuneta

-

Sharon Cuneta reportedly turned a bit emotional during the contract-signing with Star Cinema Wednesday, after saying that there never was a closure between her and ex-husband Gabby Concepcion, according to Pang-Masa.

Sharon and Gabby became a box-office love team in the ‘80s. They fell in love and got married in 1984. A year after, they had KC Concepcion, who’s now fast-becoming the toast of local showbiz. Then they went on separate ways. Gabby moved to the U.S. in 1995, and Sharon married Senator Kiko Pangilinan.

In his presscon yesterday given by ABS-CBN, Gabby said he hopes for a closure between him and his ex-wife. “Sana may closure na kasi sa akin wala na. I am willing naman to talk to her naman.”

When asked if he still loves Sharon, he said, “Hindi naman mawawala ‘yun, eh. Nandodoon lang ‘yun.”

“KC and Sharon are parts of my life, so they will always be in my heart, but they are not really the reasons why I came back here. My dad is really very sick. He has a rheumatic heart and three of his arteries are so clogged that even bypass surgery cannot correct it anymore.”

When asked by reporters to react on what Sharon said in an interview that what she missed was their loveteam, Gabby in turn said, “Ako rin naman, nami-miss ko ang loveteam namin, walang makakatalo sa loveteam namin ni Sharon.”

He further said, “Sabi ko nga, lahat ng nasaktan kong tao, sana maayos na, kalimutan na, ma-rekindle lahat, mga  kaso, inaayos ko, hindi ko na muna sasabihin kung anu-ano ‘yun, pero inaayos ko lahat.”
