MYX Music Awards honors Black Eyed Peas' Apl De Ap

What’s more, one of the most looked up to Filipino artists comes back to his roots to take part in the celebration. International artist Allan Pineda, more popularly known as Apl De Ap of the internationally known hip hop group Black Eyed Peas, once again visits the country for this very special occasion. Flying in the country a day before the music awards, Apl De Ap comes back home just to be able to celebrate and be part of the MYX Music Awards. Not only will he present the Favorite Music Video of the year, he will also be given a special citation for his undeniable contribution to the music industry, not only in the Philippines but even as a global icon around the world. Writing songs pertaining to his nationality and making music as a tribute to his motherland, Apl De Ap truly deserves the honor.
