Matt Evans and Melissa Ricks get reinvented this April

They're now more mature! The loveteam that we've grown to love in Pedro Penduko and Princess Sarah have indeed changed - for the better. This was noticed by many who were at the pictorial of YOUR SONG starting April 6, Sunday. Not only have they matured in their looks but in their views as well.

"They will now witness a different kind of Matt Evans and Melissa Ricks because after all, I'm already 18 and Matt is 19," enthuses Melissa who was discovered in a popular reality based talent search Star Circle Quest where everyone was charmed by her unique beauty.

"We're excited about this project because the story line is unique. We're childhood sweethearts here who promised each other that we'll marry when we grow old. We were apart for a long time when my family migrated to the States. Naturally, we experienced a lot of changes when we saw each other again," narrates Matt who's sporting a new look by a change in hair and skin color.

Matt is tanned here. Melissa on the other hand, for the first time will be seen in a two-piece bathing suit, which she put much thought on before saying yes. She candidly admitted that she had to ask permission from her parents and Management first. The setting of the story calls for it as it will be shot in a resort, right in time for the summer season.

The two went through stringent preparation, aside from going on a diet to look good in their beach attires, they underwent a workshop under Direk Rahyan Carlos.

"Sayang Na Sayang" of Sheryn Regis is featured in YOUR SONG for 4 episodes beginning April 6, after ASAP '08  on ABS-CBN, under the direction of Manny Palo.
