Biggest casting combination in “My Big Love”
Three of the most popular film and TV stars come together for the first time in Star Cinema’s “My Big Love.”
Toni Gonzaga, Sam Milby and Kristine Hermosa will light up the big screen as they star together for the first time in a big story of how love conquers all—including unwanted fat. Who would have thought that Kristine, Sam and Toni will be able to work and act together on a project, and a concept movie at that?
Kristine recounts the time that the project was being offered to her. “I’ve done a lot of projects that entailed heavy drama. So when they offered, I thought, this is different, go na ito definitely, I like the role a lot, and I haven’t really worked with Sam and Toni so this is a totally new thing for me. I’m excited definitely.”
Toni is also excited about this project because “for the third time, Sam and I will be working together.” She continues, “It gets easie because we understand each other more. I’m happy that I got to work with Kristine Hermosa because in ASAP sandali lang ‘yon every Sunday. Here we got to bond together. Lastly, we have a very young director, Direk Jade Castro and it’s a joy working with him because he has new ideas, he’s very laidback and at the same time, he’s intense! A very good combinaton.”
Sam on the other hand is excited for different reasons. “I wore these specially-made synthetic prosthetics to make me really fat and at the same time I’ll be able to move my facial muscles. This is the same material that
Young director Jade Castro makes his mainstream filmmaking debut with this one-of-a-kind project. “It’s a kind of movie that will make us look into ourselves and see what we are made of. And how we see other people, if we’re able to go beyond what our eyes can see. And of course, if we can love someone despite that someone’s imperfections.”
