Love comes in unexpected packages in “My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend”

This Valentine season, get ready for the most anticipated love story of Grave and Evo, an unlikely pair. Marian Rivera plays the role of Grace, a poor working student who moonlights as a waitress at a bar and accepts all kinds of odd jobs to pay the bills.  Richard Gutierrez is Evo, a rich and carefree guy who meets Grace at a stag party when she pops out of a cake.

Later, they get the surprise of their lives…Grace turns out to be the girlfriend of Evo’s best friend Mark (JC De Vera) who just got back from the States to visit Grace. Evo, however, does not reveal to Mark that Grace was the stripper at the stag party.  Meanwhile, Mark continues to rave about his new girlfriend, saying that she is one decent and fine young woman. When Evo gets dumped by his girlfriend played by Ehra Madrigal, he strikes a deal with Grace in order to win back his ex—she would pretend to be his new flame while he keeps the stag party incident from Mark. Afraid of losing Mark, Grace agrees with much hesitation.

So the charades begin. Spending too much time with one another, unexpectedly…the two find themselves learning more about one another, liking what they discover—and eventually, falling for one another.

How will Grace and Evo have their happily ever after when the love they’ve found is a love so wrong? Will they fight for love even if it means hurting the people they care for?
