Dionne celebrates birthday with orphans
Dionne Monsanto came home to celebrate her birthday with the orphans of Batang Pinangga Foundation last Saturday at Brgy. Triunfo, Carmen,
As with her previous birthdays, Dionne wanted to celebrate it with less fortunate kids, but this time, instead of a particular barangay, she chose to be with the orphans of Batang Pinangga.
The activity started with a program which was opened with a welcome address by the manager of the foundation - Butch Carpintero.
The childrensang, while Bosconians—who volunteered support (51 of them—also regaled the kids with songs and comedy drama while Dionne’s nephews, Eunie, Eugie and Micoi or collectively known as the Juarez Bros., wowed the audience with their modern dances.
After lunch, there were games like pabitin and gift giving. It was indeed a very fulfilling and heart-warming day spent with the children for Dionne.
Dionne would like to thank the Bosconians, the Dionnesses for their support, and to the foundation’s Butch Carpintero for giving her the chance to be with the kids on her most special birthday.
