TINGOG Carolinian to hold leadership forum  with Boy Abunda, Bianca Gonzalez and Raki Vega

The University of San Carlos' Tingog Carolinian Party continues its pursuit of empowering student leaders with the Tingog Carolinian Campus Leadership Forum, a prelude to its 20th anniversary next year. High-profile, celebrity guest speakers Boy Abunda, Bianca Gonzalez and Raki Vega will share more than their two cents worth of inspiration in the forum set tomorrow, November 30, at the USC Talamban Campus.

The forum aims to encourage Carolinians to discover their leadership potential and respond to the higher call of leadership. Carolinians can glean inspiration on how to make a difference from Boy Abunda’s commitment to credibility in a time of waning social and moral principles, Bianca Gonzalez’s continued efforts towards youth empowerment, and Haribon Foundation Ambassador for Conservation Raki Vega's triumphs in the arts as well as involvement in special causes.

Abunda, Gonzalez and Vega will also be conferred as Honorary Members of TINGOG before the group launches a movement dubbed as “Hope Warriors,” hoping to instill hope in more young people to become more active agents of positive change.

The Tingog Carolinian Party is a registered campus political party of the University of San Carlos that will be celebrating 20 years of unwavering student leadership in 2008. Tingog’s roster of leaders includes Glenda Gaisano of GAISANO Regal, Group, Sen. Miguel Zubiri’s Chief of Staff Alexis Valdivia, Director for Training and Marketing of Shangri-la International Academy, Jude Medida, the National Youth Commission’s Comm. Michael Francis A. Lopez, Elaine Go of Sulpicio Lines, and Sol Delantar of the Ayala Foundation, to name a few.
