Bisrock Night in Looc, Mandaue

Ten of the best Bisrock bands of Cebu will gather to entertain the people of Looc, Mandaue City as well as to celebrate the fiesta of Sr. San Roque tomorrow, October 5, 2007, beginning 8 pm in Looc Gym, Mandaue. This concert also serves as a benefit event aimed at raising funds that will aid in the reconstruction and beautification of the San Roque Chapel.

Heading the roster of performing bands are Bisrock Awards Best Alternative band of the Year, Indephums and Bisrock Awards Teens’ Choice Awardee for their hit song “Agay,” Abscond. Other exciting bands include Redhorse Muziklaban’s semi-finalist, Makadawa and Cebu’s child band prodigy, D’Kazins. For it’s a “Small World” after all, joining them is KDB and the band that brought the hit song “Sekreto para Bibo,” Retdem.

Putting the team up with nuts and bolts with heavy metal-type of music will be Metal Instinct and Squaredash. Rounding up the line-up are two up-coming bands, Fill in the blanks and Black Market.

This event would not be possible without the efforts of the Looc Mandaue SK Council and the help of Cong. Nerissa Soon-Ruiz, Former Mayor Alfredo Ouano, Giardini de Sole, Shemberg, Angels Sportswear and Hon. Pokang Cabahug.

The concert’s organizers are inviting Bisrock fans and music lovers to Looc Mandaue Gym, tomorrow, October 5, 2007, 8 pm. With your P25 ticket you can jam with your favorite Bisrock bands, aid the barangay in the reconstruction of their chapel which will serve as an offering to Sr. San Roque in his fiesta.
