Senate Majority Leader Kiko Pangilinan and Megastar wife Sharon Cuneta recently hosted a thanksgiving party to personally thank friends from show business for the support extended to Kiko’s independent senatorial candidacy.
“We express our gratitude to our friends in showbiz for going out of their way to help us be of service to the people once more,” Kiko said. “During the most difficult times of the campaign season, the support of Mother Lily (Monteverde) especially, and of so many artists and members of the showbiz press had gave me, Sharon and the rest of the family the confidence to move ahead with our fight for new politics in our country,” he added.
He further continued, “I am grateful that the industry that has been so kind to my wife has also been very kind to me. We are inspired by their trust, and we can only compensate this with hard work and dedication in the Senate.”

“I am an educated person and I know I am able to handle myself in any aspect of my life. I grew up in a good family. Sa mommy ko galing ang culture at sa daddy ko naman galing ang pagiging cowboy. Growing up, I had the best of both worlds. I didn’t reckon I’d be able to use these traits in showbiz,” she said.
“But if you’re getting something from me that is so precious that even my children would be affected, I won’t keep silent and take it sitting down. If there’s really a woman who’s trying to destroy my marriage, I will confront her. I will bring a TV crew and I will pull her hair. I’d tell her that she’s a flirt. I will really fight back,” the megastar exclaimed.
